BoutiQuito Design Hostel is centrally located in Quito Uptown at a point that is equidistant to the South, Center, and North of Quito. We are easily accessible and served by all kinds of public transportation.

Our Address: We are at the corner of Jonas Guerrero and Rafael Leon Larrea streets, also known as Via Guapulo in the Gonzalez Suarez district.

By Land: If you are driving, set your GPS for Jonas Guerrero 100 y Rafael Leon. We are right by Gonzalez Suarez avenue and around the corner from the old-school 5-star Hotel Quito. You cannot miss us!

By Request: We work with all kinds of providers and can easily recommend pick-up services from all terminals. Just let us know at by email and we will do our best to help you find transportation to get to us

By Air: If you are flying from abroad or from another Ecuadorian city, please note that Quito just opened a brand new airport in the outskirts of town in 2013 so transport options are still evolving. Do not fret! The airport is fully serviced by public transportation operating 24/7 and 365 days a week. We recommend our guests choose from the option that best fits their budget and timing. Prices start at $2 and the trip can take as little as 30 mins by taxi (traffic depending):

Taxi (to/fro the Airport): Taxi is of course the quickest but most expensive option at $25 each way. It is a great option if you travel in pairs or small groups. You walk out of the Terminal and taxis wait for you. Ensure you go to the booth with official taxis which is clearly marked. Fares are fixed so coming to BoutiQuito from the airport should cost $25.

Aeroservicios Shuttle (to/fro the Airport): This is our recommended option for the solo traveler. This is a fully equipped express shuttle service (no stops) taking travelers from the New to the Old Airport in North of Quito*. The shuttle bus offers complimentary WiFi, AC, GPS, and operates in a set timetable. Buses leave from the airport on the hour between 5:00pm and 6:00am and on the half hour in peak day hours. The cost per traveller is $8 one-way. Cash, Visa, Mastercard are all accepted. Info:
*NOTE:If you take this option, the bus will drop you off in the old airport which is a $4 cab ride away from BoutiQuito.

Public Bus Service (to/fro the Airport): If you want a cheaper option, the city of Quito operates a public bus service at $2 per person from Estacion de Bus Rio Coca in the North of Quito. This is good for Spanish immersion but may not be the most comfortable or safe. This service operates from 5:30am to 7:00pm from the airport to Quito and until 10:30pm leaving from Quito. There are 14 stops along the way so duration can be up to 2 hours. Also, it may be a bit tricky if loaded with luggage and likely not the safest option. Info:
