Only 3 min walk from JR Hiroshima Station,, Akicafe Inn Guesthouse is the closest guesthouse to the station, just opened in April of 2012. Having a female owner, the hostel is safe and pleasant for women who travel alone. The hostel is renovated from an old clock shop built more than 60 years ago. With some of the Japanese rooms retaining their original style, it is a nice mixture of retro and modern elements.

We have 2 dorm rooms, one female dorm and a mixed dorm, both very clean and nice.

The Japanese style living room is a place for everybody to relax, enjoy a conversation or watching TV. Board games are available in the room.

We have 2 shower rooms. Shampoo, rinse and body soap are prepared. You can rent a bath towel free of charge. Our bathroom is shared by all guests.

There is a small kitchen with a stove. Please feel free to use the refrigerator and eating utensils. Coffee and tea are free of charge.

Location/Area:

We are conveniently located in downtown Hiroshima, with shopping streets and restaurants nearly. We have easy access to all famous sight-seeing spots in the area. Hiroshima Castle is a 30-minute trip away via tram from the nearby Enkobashicho tram station, Shukkeien Garden is only about 15-minute walk. The Peace Memorial Park, where the famous atomic bomb dome is, is a 35-minute tram trip.

From Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka:
Take a JR Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train to JR Hiroshima Station..
The guesthouse is only 3 min walk from JR Hiroshima Station. Get out the south exit of Hiroshima Station and walk along the tramway. At the traffic lights before Enkobashicho Stop turn left. You will see the guesthouse on the left side of the street, next to an okonomiyaki shop.

If you take a Hiroshima Dentetsu tram, get off at Enkobashicho Stop and walk for 1 min to the guesthouse.
