Patrouille Suisse in Swiss
If you have a spring weakness and you need adrenaline or great emotion, which would lift your mood up, I suggest you to go to the Patrouille des Glaciers in Switzerland. It was first founded back in 1964, is the official jet aerobatics team of the Swiss Air Force.
Its performances prove the efficiency, precision and operational readiness of the Swiss Air Force, and allow an insight into the fascinating world of formation flying. You won't regret to take a part of this festival in the three days show, from 25th until 28th of April.
The commander of the Patrouille Suisse always supervises the 18 minute flying display from the ground. Darkness, freezing temperatures and 70-kilometre winds all lie ahead en route to Verbier. The biennial covers 53km by foot and ski along the Swiss-Italian border from Zermatt to Verbier. With over 7000 metres gained and lost along the way, it's the ultimate test for European outdoor enthusiasts.
This international ski-touring race is open to both military and civilian competitors. This cold be your life time experience. Mountain and a high level of fitness are essential, as is a pack-full of survival equipment to counter potential hazards.
Long trudges up treacherous inclines are relieved by exhilarating runs downhill through pristine powder. The funny thing is that the fastest teams complete the course in just 6 hours, unbelievable! Come and enjoy in the city callled Valais.
