Description

10 minutes walk from Akihabara which is famous as the Electric Town and the center of Japanese pop-culture like Animation, Manga and Video Games.

7 stations within 10 minutes walk including Japan Rail (JR), Tokyo Metro.

Keisei Sky-liner from Narita airport takes only 40 minutes to Keisei Ueno station which is 500m from our hostel. (If you want to save the budget, you can take some other option.)

Since our facility was originally the business hotel, all rooms are private with shower and toilet though the building is not very new.

Ueno Park (famous for cherry blossoms and museum area), Ameyoko shopping street (big market) and Tokyo Univ. are walking distance from our YH.

You can save the budget and time for daily transportation because of the location.

There are restraunts,cafe, convenience stores, post office, bank, 100yen shop, super market and hospital around here.

◆Narita airport
Take Keisei Line to Keisei-Ueno station. (40-75min. 1000-2400yen)
*If you have JR pass and use it, you can take JR Narita Express to Tokyo station.
*Low-priced shuttle bus maybe available to Tokyo station as well, please check the detail at the airport.

◆Haneda airport
Take Mono-rail to Hamamatsu-cho station and change to JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station. (45min. 630yen)

◆Tokyo station
Take JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station. (6 min.)

◆Shinjuku station
Take JR Chuo Line to Kanda station and transfer to JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station. (25 min.)

◆Ueno station (JR)
100m from Keisei Ueno station, please follow the direction below. Or take JR Yamanote Line to Okachimachi station and follow the direction below.

◆Keisei-Ueno station(Keisei Line)
There is a Tourist Information Center in front of the ticket gate to get the direction.
From Ikenohata Exit, take left and walk along Chuo street bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno station) about 400m. You will find the second SevenEleven and police box nex to each other on your right at the end of the sidewalk, then turn right and go straight 100m. We are in front of Ueno First City Hotel.There is no up down on the way. (10-12min. Depend on your luggage)
If weather is not good like raining, too hot, cold or windy, you can take the underground passage to Metro Ginza Line as below, but will take more time since its not shortcut.

◆Okachimachi station(JR Yamanote Line)
From South Exit, take left and walk along the railway bound for Akihabara (Not for Ueno) about 50m.You will find the Kotobuki Golf shop. Then turn right and walk 100m, across the Chuo Street and keep going straight 100m. (5-7min.)
We are in front of Ueno First City Hotel.

◆Yushima station(Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line)
From Exit 6, take right and at first intersection, turn right. (1 min.)
We are in front of Ueno First City Hotel.
If you need the elevator, take Exit 3, though it is a bit far from our YH.
From Exit 3, take right and you can find the police box on the way to here to get the direction.

◆Ueno-Hirokoji station(Tokyo Metro Ginza Line)
◆Ueno-okachimachi station(Tokyo Subway Oedo Line)
From Exit A4, walk along Chuo Street 50m bound for Akihabara (Exit A4 face the direction). You will find SevenEleven and police box on your right, then turn right and go straight 100m.
We are in front of Ueno First City Hotel.
If you need the elevator, take Exit A1, it is on the opposite side of A4 on Chuo Street.(5 min.)

◆Naka-okachimachi station(Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line)
Take the underground passage to Metro Ginza Line and get Exit A4 and follow the way above.(10min.)
