Description

Salitre Hostel is a boutique hostel located in a beautiful 19th century building with luminous, clean and comfortable accommodations in double rooms, female and mixed dorms.

The Salitre Hostel facilities include bathrooms for men and women with hairdryers, a full equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meal and where is served a free buffet breakfast every morning. A lovely living area with cable TV and nice sofas where you can chill out or interact with other guests.
Beside all this you can have a drink or relax at the small but very pleasant outdoor area.

Wi-Fi is free of charge and there are a couple of computers with internet access that you can use for free.
We also provide free storage for your luggage, in case you need it.

Our friendly staff will be glad to help you around with local tips and free maps, ensuring that you have a great stay in Lisbon.

The closest metro station is Rato (yellow line and only a 3 minute walk from Salitre Hostel), located at Rato Square, a public transport hub, that makes the perfect starting point to any place in Lisbon and surroundings.

Directions

By subway from the airport:
Take the red line from the airport and in Saldanha station change to the yellow line and get off at Rato station. When exiting the station follow the signs that say Rua do Salitre. We are on the number 134, approximately 3 minutes walking.

By subway from Sete Rios Bus Station:
Catch the Metro, Jardin Zoologico (blue line) towards Sta Apolonia station and at Marques de Pombal change to the yellow line and get off at Rato Station. When exiting the station follow the signs that say Rua do Salitre. We are on the number 134, approximately 3 minutes walking.

By subway from Oriente Station:
Catch the Metro, Oriente station (red line) towards S. Sebastiao station and at Saldanha station change to the yellow line, going in the direction to Rato station, once at Rato get off. When exiting the station follow the signs that say Rua do Salitre. We are on the number 134, approximately 3 minutes walking.

By subway from Santa Apolonia Station:
Catch de Metro, St. Apolonia (blue line) towards Amadora Este station and at Marques de Pombal change to the yellow line and get off at Rato Station. When exiting the station follow the signs that say Rua do Salitre. We are on the number 134, approximately 3 minutes walking.
