Home Youth Hostel offers dormitory accommodation with a maximum of 4 beds in each room and no bunk beds! We're situated in the Barrio El Carmen just seconds from the excellent Central Market and within easy walking distance from the train station and a short ride from the bus station.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you towards the best beaches, bars, sights and sounds of Valencia. If a lazy day indoors is what you need then feel free to lay around in the lounge, watch a movie or just cook up a batch of whatever you're craving in our fully-equipped kitchen. We also have internet access, bicycle rental, a tours desk and luggage storage!

From the Airport:
There is a metro service between 06.00 and 23.55 from the airport to the city center. In the centre you get off at Xativa, just in front of the train station Valencia Nord. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get there. You can also take a taxi which will cost you approximately between 15 and 20 Euro and will take around 15 minutes.

From the Train Station Valencia Nord
Approximately 10 minutes' walk. From the main exit of the train station Valencia Nord walk straight ahead to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Walk past the fountain (leaving it on your right) until you get to the Citibank. Take the Avenida Maria Cristina, located on your left, until you reach the Central Market. On your right you'll see the old silk market Lonja de la Seda. Take the steps next to the Lonja. At the end, just before you reach the Plaza del Collado you'll see on your left Home Youth Hostel.

From the Train Station Joaquin Sorolla:
Outside at the main exit you'll see a yellow/black bus, which is for free with your train ticket, that takes you to the train station Valencia Nord. You can also walk 10 minutes following the tracks until you reach the train station Valencia Nord. From there follow our directions from the train station Valencia Nord.

From Xativa Metro Station:
Follow our directions from the Train Station Valencia Nord.

From the Bus Station:
Take bus number 8 outside the bus station and get off at Plaza de la Reina. On your right you'll see a McDonald's. Take Calle Correjeria (which is next to McDonald's) until it finishes; then turn left into Calle de la Purisima. Go straight into Calle de la Estam.Vieja until you reach a little square called Plaza del Dr. Collado. Once on the square, you'll see Cafe Blankita and Bar El Kiosco on your left hand side. On the opposite building you'll see the Home Youth Hostel logo. The hostel entrance is on the left side of the building.
